Goals and Objectives
Provide requisite training for individuals who take on the role of mentor or coach working with children in with complex personal situations and those involved with the Life Link initiative.
This will be accomplished by empowering the coach, instructor or mentor through training and personal development to be able to provide effective and positive guidance to children looking for the path leading to productive and meaningful life.
Strong leaders with compassion and the ability to create a structured environment achieve a high level of positive interaction within children and young adults.
Mentoring - Support for established mentoring relationships and developing new relationships between adults and children.
Leadership Development - Creating strong leadership skills in adults who are in contact with children recovering from loss.
Training for coaches that raise the standards of performance related to emotional and physical skill development of children in sports programs.
Training for organizations and individuals based on understanding the needs of children with emotional and behavioral issues.
Friends For Life
Friends For Life is our way of helping the family as a whole. Our goal is to strengthen the parent or caregiver through any number of ways. We may be able to provide emergency funding, or connect you with people in the community. We are here to help keep your family strong as you overcome your loss or personal tragedy.
