The Life Link Program is the centerpiece of Parent Plus
This is where we facilitate participation in life-enriching opportunities related to the arts, athletics, and academic pursuits, which offer a positive outlet and structured guidance. These activities also promote self-esteem and self-confidence by providing leadership and a sense of security that maybe missing from a child's life due to the loss of a parent or caregiver. Participation may be one-time or continuous.

Intellectual and Academic Pursuits
Parent Plus recognizes the importance of education, though focusing on studies can be quite difficult in trying times. Our first goal is to help kids maintain their grades and connect them with Tutoring and making sure they have the required books and supplies. Secondarily we would like to spark an interest in a particular subject and facilitate a life-long association with the interest.

Athletics
There are many opportunities to get involved in athletics. Schools, community sports organization, YMCA, and private business offer structured sports programs. Some are prohibitive or require perseverance to succeed. Kids can have the opportunity to try something new, or continue in an existing sport. We emphasize learning about a sport you're interested in through books and literature. We help with participation fees, equipment, event admission, camps, lessons and instruction. Almost anything sports related is acceptable as long as it's in a structured and supervised format.

The Arts
Imagine what you would like to do and check out local opportunities that are of interest. Use books and magazines to research ideas. Attend a theater production or begin dance, music, art or theater lessons and instructions. The field is wide open and it only takes a little effort to spark a child's imagination.
